60-75% of all vaginal births result in some form of tearing. Beyond childbirth, many women experience a progressive collapse of their pelvic floor over the course of their lifetime.
This week, we're back with our Pelvic Floor series to share a breakdown of what happens "When the V is broke and non-surgical intervention ain't fixin.'" We'll walk through the true story of "vagina braces" and a subsequent rebirth that --for Katie-- resulted in a brand new Rolls Royce V (thanks to Dr. Pero).
Learn what signs and symptoms to look for to avoid surgery, as well as best practices and methods to prepare before, during and after pregnancy (and in the future) to prevent complications down south.
Finally, as we all know, once we reconstruct the foundation, we move into the rebuild. We're sharing our favorite new devices and tools on the market that have aided in our own pelvic floor journey. You won't want to miss it!
